Sterling Creatives

Our Story

Sterling Creatives is the result of the dedication and vision of a community artists committed to enriching Northeastern Colorado through the arts. Their mission is to expand access to artistic expression while fostering a vibrant environment for creation, exhibition, learning, and connection among local artists and the broader community. As a cooperative, Sterling Creatives is made up of member artists who thoughtfully and passionately create work to share with the world. The gallery serves as both a creative hub and a welcoming space where art and community come together. Each month, Sterling Creatives hosts First Friday events, transforming the gallery to highlight a featured artist and provide an engaging experience for visitors. Community members can stay connected by following Sterling Creatives on Facebook or joining their email list to receive updates on exhibitions and special events. In addition to exhibitions, the cooperative offers workshops that support community through creative expression. Their commitment to inclusivity is reflected in their Community Corner, where both youth (under 20)and those young at heart (70+) are invited to display their artwork. Sterling Creatives has also played a key role—alongside many community partners—in helping Sterling earn its designation as a Creative District, further strengthening the region’s cultural identity. The artists of Sterling Creatives have become a family of ambassadors, welcoming visitors and sharing not only their art, but also the spirit of the community. The gallery has evolved into a central gathering place and a destination for unique, handcrafted gifts.
